An ultra competitive start to the card with Kernel Dowery, Daydream Dancer, Short Change, Moonshine Bill and Laurollie all on the short list but the tentative nod goes to the last named. Laurollie has a nice racing weight and has been in such consistent form of late that she cannot be ignored. Her latest run saw her staying on for second place at Folkstone. A reproduction of that form will see her go very close. Of some of her rivals: Kernel Dowery is another running well of late and finished an eye-catching second of twelve at Warwick last time out. The only worry being the weight he is giving away and with that in mind may find one too good today. Daydream Dancer is another to note in the market and will be in with a shout at his best as will Short Change who looked as if coming back to form last time out. Course and distance winner Moonshine Bill carries top weight and although proven on the ground and track he looked a little exposed when finishing last of five at Hamilton last time out, so is probably best watched. So for the winner we return to Laurollie.
