A tricky finale with Kindlelight Debut, Dvinsky, Huxley and Gold Guest all short-listed with the vote going to the last named. Gold Guest won a seller at Bath last time out and connections were keen not to lose him so therefore bought him back in. That day he was fancied and also obliged and therefore has a good opportunity of following up on that success. Kindlelight Debut will be a danger to the selection and ran with credit at Newmarket last time out when a staying on fifth. This looks easier so is worth noting. Dvinsky was only beaten a little over three lengths at Leicester last time out and can run well again as can Huxley who after some poor efforts in better company is now dropped in grade so looks interesting. But for the winner we return to Gold Guest.
