Bowland Bride, Diction and Dane's Rock look to be the principles in this seller and we will side with the last mentioned. The colt from the Patrick Haslam yard is dropped slightly in grade after running a fair race when down the field behind Theatre of Dreams at Folkestone last time. Kevin Darley is an eyecatching jockey booking and with the step up in trip expected to bring about some improvement he could go well. Bowland Bride was made to work hard but eventually won well last time when defeating Mermaid's Cry at Thirsk. Mermaid's Cry hardly franked the form though when finishing last behind Sharplaw Star at Leicester on Tuesday so we are happy to oppose Bowland Bride who may struggle to follow-up her recent success. Diction finished down the field behind Bowland Bride last time out and as there is no obvious reason why the form of that race should be reversed, we are happy to oppose the filly from the Karl Burke yard. A market move for any of the newcomers could be significant as this is a race that will not take much winning, but we are happy to stick with Dane's Rock as our idea of the winner.
