In depth

Verdict

Time To Relax won well enough at Wolverhampton on the Polytrack last time but is far from certain to reproduce the form back on turf and a chance is taken with Weet A Head, who is preferred to Silverhay. The last mentioned has slipped to a fair mark but has yet to prove conclusively that he stays this far, while The Player is not certain to handle today's softer ground. Bid For Fame probably wants further, while Cripsey Brook faces no easy task giving weight away all round. El Chaparral is another that would probably prefer a faster surface and of more interest may be Daring Affair, although lack of a recent outing may be of concern. Penalty Kick and Kirkham Abbey are others worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Reg Hollinshead's Weet A Head, who should have problems with either the trip or the ground and is potentially well treated.
