Verdict

Kindest won by just a neck last time out but she kept on well that day so should put up a very good challenge to our pick MUSIC OF THE MOOR who we side with ahead of Changing The Guard. Kindest just beat Chosen Forever at York last time and pedigree suggests this trip shouldn't be a problem. The Chris Wall filly had improved no end from a poor season opener at Warwick and there is potential for an even better run today. She will need to deliver such a run if she is to see off Music Of The Moor who is our selection. Just a nose behind Yashrid (who has since gone on to win again to frank the form) when seen at Ripon on his last start, Music Of The Moor stands a very good chance in this race. His form is good so far this year after winning his season opener at Beverley and that close second last time. A favourable weighting eases our decision to side with him here. Changing The Guard may be one for the places if coming on for his last contest at Pontefract. Although a note of caution is advised given some runners from interesting yards in this race we side with Music Of The Moor.
