Verdict

Although SWEET CHEEKS didn't beat the strongest field in her debut run it has to be respected that she beat eighteen other horses that day and we side with the first time out winner in this contest ahead of the developing Crown Ridge and progressive Karafuse. The pedigree of the selection isn't worth shouting about but the impressive nature in which she won last time is. The advantage was four lengths come the finish at York on her debut and there is a strong possibility that she can deliver another good run and get the victory here. Crown Ridge was behind Whoateallthepius in the middle part of June at Windsor on his latest start and although finishing as runner-up, there may be room for potential improvement and he could once again challenge. Karafuse finished three lengths behind the winner last time at Redcar and is in with a chance, as is Dolly Parton if returning to the level of ability that saw her win at Thirsk over a furlong less. The latter has since run poorly at the same track and will need to bounce back to contend. Our vote goes to Sweet Cheeks.
