Ignition has more to do under her penalty than when winning at Musselburgh last time and Mark Brisbourne's filly is probably best watched in a race that is taken to go to Love Affair, who is preferred to Fashion House. The last mentioned needs to improve on the form shown on her reappearance at Yarmouth last month but most of Godolphin's horses have come on for their first run of the campaign so there should be more to come from the daughter of Quiet American. Luca Cumani's Allied Cause step sup to a mile for the first time for her debut in this grade and cannot be discounted although she looks to have plenty of weight for what she has achieved and of more interest may be Bracklinn. James Fanshawe's filly created a favourable impression when making a winning debut at Wolverhampton last month and looks to have been allotted a fair mark for her first start in a handicap. Top weight Society Music is likely to find this tougher than the race that she won at Ayr last time and would probably prefer more cut in the ground, while Sand Fairy has been running over further and is hard to recommend with confidence back over a mile. Ed Dunlop's Innocent Splendour has slipped to a fair mark and is another to consider but the vote goes to Love Affair, who was unfortunate to come up against the well handicapper Banba at Thirsk last time and is potentially well treated off just a 1lb higher mark today.
