New Order can make up for her York defeat by beating Premier Rouge, with Nikiforos taken to fill the other place in division two of the maiden. This is not a strong division and on the evidence of her debut at York, New Order should have what it takes to open her account. The Barry Hills inmate was hampered at the start on her debut at York in May, but was soon chasing the leaders and finished a creditable third in the end. That was over seven furlongs, and as the dam Eternal is a half-sister to the Derby winner Quest For Fame, she should relish the step up in trip. The same applies to Premier Rouge who made good headway to finish fourth behind Lyca Ballerina on his recent Beverley introduction. That bare form does not read as good as New Order's though, but still entitles him to finish in front of the rest of those that have raced already. Clipperdown is related to Mamounia and would not have to be anything special to prove better than stablemate Palabelle here, but really the race is there for the taking if New Order displays the necessary improvement.
