      Verdict

      Ventura Flame won a nursery on heavy going at Carlisle last month and drops back down in grade after contesting a Listed race at Ayr 10 days ago, though has to concede weight all round. Jeanie B won a Pontefract maiden last time and has travelled a long way for this but Art Power is just as interesting after a fair first run at Newcastle. OAKENSHIELD (NAP) wasn’t beaten far when fourth on soft ground at Haydock and the 200,000gns purchase will know more today - retained jockey Andrea Atzeni is here for the ride. Baileys Blues was a relatively cheap buy but is a half-brother to three winners.
