    Verdict

Strawberryandcream is a tad inconsistent and there are worries here about the going but her stable is back in form. Quirky Gertie won on soft ground at Lingfield in July but she has been showing her best form over 7f. Yes You is now 7lb lower than when scoring at Thirsk a year ago and should handle conditions but DANCING RAVE has a first and a second to her name from two previous visits here. She wasn’t at her best last time at Pontefract but that’s a theme common among this field. Conga drops a further pounds and makes more appeal than Melrose Way. Summer Daydream was engaged at Musselburgh yesterday.
