      Verdict

Postulant drops back to 6f after placing again when a well-beaten third at Thirsk. She had earlier finished ahead of GATHURST when the latter was third at Musselburgh but David O'Meara's charge may well turn the tables with normal progress and is also preferred to the more exposed Jillanar. Can You Reverse and Frightened Rabbit failed to show any progress on their latest starts but the newcomer Lavetta is a half-sister to the smart sprinter Tiddliwinks and is worth a second glance in the betting.
