Compton Prince is back on a winning mark but getting no nearer judged on his latest run here while Venus Marina remains 5lb higher than last year's win at Yarmouth. Fairy Mist went close over 7f at Lingfield off today's mark earlier in the month and Hi Empress finished runner-up at Tipperary in April and debuts for a new yard in this. LADY ZODIAC was beaten only a head here in August but is 6lb lower today with Rob Hornby taking a further 5lb off her back. She looks to have every chance of finally opening her account and gets the nod.
