        Verdict

        Otelcaliforni gets the confident vote with Hayden Grace and Blushing Hilary rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second behind Jidaar last time out. That form has since been franked and he need only reproduce that effort to win this with a little in hand. Hayden Grace rates the main danger as she is a well bred In The Wings filly from a yard in form and should be closely watched in the market. Blushing Hillary is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she has had plenty of chances without taking one and again looks vulnerable. Of the remainder Musical Giant showed a modicum of ability on his debut and is sure to improve but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect once handicapped and with this in mind for the winner we are happy to return to Otelcaliforni who will be hard to beat.
