Verdict

REJECT could leave the others needing snookers if building on the form of his Pontefract run. Deraaya and Rogalt have claims with Crime Writer and Raffanetti newcomers to note. Deraaya ran on takingly in an all-weather maiden but the first two home did little for the form next time and she looks worth taking on as does Rogalt whose latest performance was more encouraging than those that went before. Raffanetti is the first foal of a decent performer and needs a market check but Crime Writer could be the more popular of the two newcomers given that he hails from the yard of the track's leading trainer. He looks the part on paper and could make the frame despite the fact that he may find this trip an inadequate test. Willie Haggas is also a profitable trainer to follow at this venue and, with a strike rate of forty five per cent, his runners simply cannot be ignored. Reject was well backed on debut but failed to land the spoils after a slow break and running green, he improved from his first run to his second and wouldn't need to find too much more in order to chalk up another winner for his trainer. Therefore, we'll reject the others and go with Reject.
