Imperial Sword should go well again and Joyeaux merits respect but the vote goes the way of SUNLEY SOVEREIGN. Imperial Sword scored with ease under this apprentice at Haydock on heavy ground but is just as effective under faster conditions so should go well. Joyeaux wasn't beaten far behind Andrasta but is still probably a shade high in the weights whilst Alan Berry's runner has been well held since. Top Bid finished second in his group when midfield on his reappearance but has been absent since. However, his yard is going well now and he's dangerously well handicapped. Jonny Ebeneezer also enters calculations having stayed on well at Brighton but preference is for the runner from the in-form Ruth Carr stable. He gained a maiden turf success over course and distance in September from a one pound lower mark which highlights that he isn't the easiest to catch right but he shaped encouragingly on his return and is entitled to come on for the run so we'll take a punt on Sunley Sovereign.
