In depth

Verdict

Glendown has enjoyed a good season and has worked his way to the head of the weights here after scoring with considerable authority at Chester last time. Another competitive effort is anticipated but he has been hit with a 7lb rise for that victory and SACRED FALLS (NAP) is preferred. Admittedly, she was beaten at long odds-on last time, but previous efforts read well and the return to a longer trip may well prove beneficial. She's well worth another chance off a fair mark. Jack Of Clubs, a steady improver throughout the campaign, finally shed his maiden tag at Wolverhampton latest. This does look harder but he looks on the improve and is a key player back. Hollie Doyle is an interesting booking for Protest Rally who now makes his debut for a new yard after leaving Ed Walker.
