        Verdict

        Jim Goldie won this last year but though Glenluji has a chance at the weights he's better on quicker ground. COSMIC MOON won't mind the going and is in reasonable form so he looks the one to be on, especially as he's just 5lb higher than his last winning mark. High Resolution has won three times in his career - all on this track - but hasn't been successful since 2010. The assessor has done him no favours by raising him 2lb despite being beaten recently. Lanarkshire won at Southwell before a poor handicap debut on heavy ground at Carlisle though it wouldn't be shock if he bounced back. Robert The Painter hasn't won since his debut two years ago but came close at Thirsk last time and has surprisingly been dropped 1lb so should go close.
