      Verdict

      Godolphin are well represented in all of the maidens on today's card and run three in the first. Raven's Tower is preferred to Pentagram after improving to finish sixth at Haydock last time but LORD PROVOST made his debut in a stronger maiden. Looking in need of the experience when fifth at Goodwood, the half-brother to the prolific Landaman is expected to improve under Frankie Dettori and gets the tentative vote. Entrapping went backwards at Chepstow last time while Count Curlin, who can boast four winning relatives, makes more appeal than fellow newcomers Ravens Nest and Moaning Butcher.
