Verdict

A well named race with plenty of the jumps trainers likely to be sniffing around and SUNNYSIDE TOM can take the race at the expense of Fishforcompliments and Jim Martin. If jockey bookings are to be believed, Sunnyside Tom looks first choice of Paul Hanagan. He is arguably better on faster ground but on his only ever experience of heavy going, he ran creditably enough in a better race. Fishforcompliments has an unhelpful handicap mark at the moment. He does not totally convince over this trip though the ground is not a problem. Jim Martin posted an 80/1 shock at Ayr last year. He has not shown too much in the way of form this year though could go well now back in plating company. First Bay is unexposed and this well bred type is noted in the market. Whirlijig has not gone on from a third in the Aintree mares bumper while Grethel should not be good enough. Sunnyside Tom is selected.
