A few of these leading protagonists have a bit to prove in regards to their handicap mark so we'll take a chance on Jim Goldie's KILLER CLASS, who races off a winning rating, while Joyeaux is closely matched with the pick and could be some value for a place while Caranbola has at least been consistent off his current rating. The selection return to his last winning mark last time and ran really well in a big field sprint handicap on day one of Ayr's Western meeting. That was a slight return to form and in this company he should be going a lot closer. Joyeux was less than a length behind the selection on that last run so given the forecast prices looks to be the each-way play. Caranbola was second best off of his current mark last time but a seven pound claimer on his back that day might mean he'll need further weight removed before scoring. Select Committee remains seven pounds heavier than when scoring two start ago and he is yet to win under such a heavy burden while Fern House looks up against running from out of the handicap. This looks a little trappy and Killer Class should be the best treated.
