        Verdict

        REGAL MIRAGE won here before going in again at Ayr last time. He’ll need to improve further upped in class carrying 6lb extra but doubts surround his main rivals and it could pay to stick with Tim Easterby’s charge. Falcon's Fire won this last year but arrives in poor form despite slipping back to a winning mark while Colour Contrast has now returned a losing favourite in three of his last four starts and gets a change of headgear. Bonnie Arlene won at Pontefract earlier but hasn’t threatened since and Archibelle’s best efforts so far have been over 1m4f.
