      Verdict

      Luck In Running has the highest BHB rating of these but Mark Johnston's colt is difficult to back with any confidence after his latest start over course and distance and preference is for Riodan, with, with Riverhill rated the best of the rest. The selection showed progressive form in bumpers and was unfortunate to come up against another decent bumper recruit Alfie Flits on his recent flat debut at Thirsk. That form looks to be the best on offer and a reproduction of that effort may well suffice for John Quinn's filly. Eric Alston's Dancing Flame has had plenty of chances and is hard to recommend on all known form, while Minthare needs to improve significantly on all known form to trouble the judge. Riverhill may do better now that he encounters a faster surface but Riodan holds solid claims and she gets the vote.
