Verdict

WHERE'S JEFF looks a major improver at present and is worth sticking with. Michael Easterby's gelding has displayed a nice turn of foot to put his last two races to bed in impressive fashion and is well worth going along with despite the two-grade rise in class as he looks to have more to offer. Fellow three-year-old Good Boy Alfie remains relatively unexposed but We Are The World makes greater appeal as next best for the thriving Watson team on the back of a useful runner-up effort behind Kalagia at Bath. The other three could all probably do with a little respite from the handicapper, although the 7lb claim of Andrew Breslin will assist the cause of Chinese Spirit.
