Regent's Secret has been hit hard for winning here last time so we'll take MISTER ANGRY ahead of Wicked Daze and Lady Luachmhar. Mark Johnston's gelding romped to victory over just two rivals last time and should have claims again up just 6lbs. Dominating this bigger field won't be easy but he promised plenty as a juvenile and maybe that Ripon success will open the door to more; he won here as a two-year-old and acts on both quick and slow surfaces. Wicked Daze finished just behind a subsequent winner last time and this furlong drop in trip won't hinder his chance up just 2lbs, while Lady Luachmhar's sole handicap success came here at Hamilton and she's been coming to the boil nicely this term. Regent's Secret is an exposed sort who had his day last time and may be found out by a 10lb rise so a more interesting proposition could be Lochiel, who has dropped to a favourable mark and this is undeniably easier than the tasks he's been set of late. Bollin Felix has work to do with Wicked Daze on their meeting at Haydock but is now 5lbs lower than when last successful and his chance will improve should rain fall, Proud Times is flattered by his success two starts back and Grey Granite needs to drop a few pounds on the evidence of his three handicap starts, so we'll return to Mister Angry.
