    Verdict

Archippos and Al Hawraa have both shown enough in ordinary northern maidens to suggest that can pick up a modest maiden contest, especially the latter if repeating the distinct promise of her Beverley debut when second to Lincoln Rocks. She was not so good behind Delve next time up at Doncaster and we'll have to wait and see if that was due to her first venture on the soft ground. HARAZ has become a little frustrating since failing to back up a really promising debut for the O'Meara yard when third at Beverley to Fawaareq, who has gone on to complete a hat-trick, most recently landing a hot handicap at the July meeting. He's been placed on all three subsequent runs though and is given one more chance. Obviously the Mark Johnston newcomer, Zamindo, requires a market check on his belated debut.
