        Verdict

        Gunnerside finished well ahead of Lord Of The Glen when third over 6f at Ayr while Star Citizen was beaten only a length over the same distance at Catterick. But REFUGE returned to action with another good effort over today’s minimum trip at Nottingham and Mick Easterby’s charge will be winning again soon on that evidence. Rockley Point still looks high enough in the weights while Gleniffer remains a maiden but Popping Corks has a shout on her return to action.
