Verdict
Pearl Of Qatar hadn’t won on the Flat since her debut in 2018 before scoring at Ayr last month. She then followed that success with a victory over track and trip but is upped in class under a penalty today. Captain Jameson finished behind the latter before going close in soft ground at Catterick while Dream Together won at Thirsk recently with FLAVIUS TITUS (NAP) a couple of lengths behind. But the latter would have finished closer with a clear run in the closing stages and may have finally fallen far enough down the weights to get his head back in front having won off a mark of 95 in the past. I Am A Dreamer is preferred to Erich Bloch and Lord Oberon of the rest.
