Last month's Carlisle winner Dubious Escapade was well beaten at Pontefract last time while Silver Rime scored over 7f at Musselburgh recently but hasn't won over today's trip since 2010. CORTON LAD went close at Ayr last week having won at this track before that. He beat stablemate and subsequent dual winner Argaki, who runs in the previous race, on that occasion and can just edge this. Bitusa is proving best on soft ground so Mullins Way looks a bigger danger after showing a bit more at Newcastle recently.
