Lothian Countess is much better off on today's terms with LADY DEL SOL but was beaten nine lengths by the latter in a claimer over 5f here last time. Jo Hughes' charge can confirm running and go in again. Saxonette went close at Ayr last week and looks the biggest threat to the selection on recent form as both Rock Canyon and Baltic Bomber are struggling to rediscover their best. Lothair won last year's renewal but has been beaten out of sight in both starts this season.
