FREMEN knows the way to the finish line, especially at this level and he is preferred to El Dececy and Moody Tunes. Now nine years of age, the selection comes here after a two month break following some consistent if unspectacular efforts on the all-weather. He is well-treated by the weights of today's race and he is nominated accordingly. Moody Tunes was last seen over hurdles at Doncaster in May where he got rid of his jockey but he is rated a contender judging by his record at this track and he won in claiming company here in August. His chance would probably be enhanced by any further rain. El Dececy is a formidable opponent at this level, as he showed when winning at Redcar in May despite not being at his best. He has a win here to his name and any market support could be significant. Others to consider include Castlebury and Heureux, however it is Fremen who can get back to winning ways.
