None of the six runners have seen a racecourse before so the most tentative of votes goes to IRISH JUGGER ahead of Loveinthesand. Karl Burke has his horses in good form, especially his two-year-old's of which 8 of his last 21 runners have finished in the first three. This expensive son of Johannesburg ($220,000) is related to several juvenile winners and he looks a likely contender. As does Loveinthesand who represents Mark Johnston; the horse is also bred to make up into a speedy sort, and the stable are generally in good form. Dahes may need more time and distance although there is speed on the dam's side, Ask Frank was a relatively cheap purchase, whilst Leviathan is a Dubawi colt whose dam was a Listed winner in Germany and any market support would look significant. Ya Boy Sir completes the line-up but is likely to need more of a test than six furlongs, and so we will return to Irish Jugger for the selection.
