The veteran hurdler Dhaular Dhar wasn't beaten far in a similar race over this course and distance last week and it's a surprise to see him dropped in the ratings. BYRON'S DREAM was having only the eighth start of his career and tackling a mile for the first time when runner-up to Run Fat Lass Run at Newcastle. He had the more exposed Dansili Dutch behind and though it should be close between the pair again the former may just have the edge and can gain his first success. Lil Sophella is invariably well supported but she's let supporters down on too many occasions and is probably still a couple of pounds high in the weights. It's almost two years since Eastwood Ho won a race but he's dropped in the weights accordingly and will be better for his run at Newcastle where he attracted some support.
