Sunley Sovereign was a course and distance winner last time and Argentine is also in some decent form of late but it is THE HISTORY MAN who gets the verdict. The six-year-old is eight pounds lower than his last winning turf mark which just adds to his claims and under current conditions we expect him to return to winning ways. Sunley Sovereign returned to action early last month after a five month break and looked well on his reappearance. He followed up with a win over course and distance last time. This should prove to be a tougher test for the Ruth Carr trained gelding but a place in among the minors is not beyond him. Argentine was never far away when running at this course last time and kept on well to finish third. The quick ground here should suit and a similar result to last time is expected.
