PENSION POLICY remains unexposed after a good course and distance win last time and is taken to defy a penalty and confirm placings with Wikaala, while Red Expresso is interesting. The Roger Charlton-trained selection took advantage of a mark of 67 to win with more in hand than the two length margin would have us believe. She showed a good turn of foot that day in what what her first handicap run and she looks well capable of carrying the extra 6lb to follow up. Wikaala was supported well enough before that same race last week, having slipped down to what looked an attractive mark, but there were no excuses. Red Expresso makes his handicap debut here from a mark of 75, and he should be spot on after a good recent run following a 17 month absence. Provided he doesn't suffer the dreaded bounce factor then he looks to have a decent chance. Ocean Legend is tongue-strapped for the first time and seems to handle any of the artificial surfaces pretty well. He is 2lb higher than his highest winning mark and a place in the frame might be his best hope. Benedetto hails from the in-form Amanda Perrett yard and comes here on the back of a good Brighton run last week. However, he has yet to prove he is as good over a mile and we will side with Pension Policy.
