In depth

Verdict

This appears to be a decent opportunity for GRANDE CAIMAN to land a decent pot as it's difficult to see why Slip and King's Head should reverse Lingfield form. Slip ran as well as he's ever done in defeat last time and although he has theoretical claims at these revised terms he may need to drop a few pounds before getting his head in front. King's Head was back in third but could emerge as a bigger threat as he's feasibly handicapped and that run marked a return to form following some poor runs. Celtic Spirit is interesting on the best of his form so it's worth checking for signs of confidence but it's hard to get away from the Hannon runner. He may be a maiden on grass but he's won five of his eleven starts on artificial surfaces and he should prove equally effective at this circuit. He is on a career high mark but crucially for Grande Caiman there appears to be little in the way of opposition.
