      Verdict

      DOUBTFUL SOUND may be able to keep his good run going in a competitive race although Matsunosuke and The Game are just two of the potential dangers. Doubtful Sound has been a revelation since joining Reg Hollinshead and has won his last two starts in effortless fashion. He's risen by 17lbs and can't call on Atzeni's claim this evening but has finished second on all three visits here and may now be able to go one better. Fyodor may be a shade high in the weights now, Ebraam will be able to race from a 2lb lower mark in future and may find life easier then but First Order arrives here in good nick and should have the race run to suit. He came with a late rattle to win here on his penultimate start and Matsunosuke is another who should be finishing off strongly but his losing run now stretches back over twenty races which has to be a concern although he is well handicapped. The Game lines up under a 6lb penalty but he was good value for his win at Lingfield and could well improve further for his new connections for whom he's only had a handful of starts. He's another interesting contender in a fascinating race which may go to Doubtful Sound.
