The Michael Jarvis filly BALLET DANCER gets a tentative vote in front of Penperth and the more experienced Capitelli. The selection ran a very pleasing debut at Doncaster after running on well to grab third place of 15. That experience will aid her this time and with her Dam landing a couple of decent races in the States you'd expect further improvement to come. The polytrack should hold no concerns either with the maiden likely to go at the second time of asking. Penperth gets a chance here after a good looking debut over course and distance last time. She missed the break a little and spent the rest of the race playing catch up and was stopped in her tracks when making decent progress around the last bend. Still she stayed on well without really being given a hard time and with a nice pedigree she should be close. The experienced animal in the race is Capitelli, who as a claim on the race after some consistent performances. Connections are still trying to find the right trip for this one after she found a seven furlong stint at Lingfield a little quick. The extra furlong will be of an advantage with a placing at least in the offing. More Tea Vicar and Valetta should also be considered after solid debuts with the latter perhaps needing even further but Ballet Dancer looks the one to beat.
