        Verdict

        LADY ASPEN is marginally preferred to Tarkamara and Safebreaker. Ian Williams has enjoyed plenty of success on the Flat in the last twelve months and this mare is poised to add to his tally. Her rating has plummeted since her early days in Ireland but her recent performances indicate that it's just a matter of time until she takes advantage of her mark and today may be the day. Safebreaker has been off the track for some time but has Jamie Spencer in the plate and may well be ready to do himself justice. He's making his debut for a new yard and is another that has slipped to a most appealing mark. Tarkamara comes into the race on the back of some decent efforts and there's no reason to believe that she won't be there or thereabouts again but we fancy Lady Aspen to gain a deserved success.
