In depth

Verdict

NICKY NUTJOB is given the vote to land the finale at the expense of Autumn Morning and More Tea Vicar. The selection caught the eye when finishing second of ten behind Canmoss over course and distance recently. The penny seemed to finally drop that day and he ran a blinder at a massive price. If he can recapture that form then he will go very close to breaking his maiden tag. Autumn Morning was in the winners enclosure at Wolverhampton last month and again ran with credit in what looked like a stronger field last time out. He still looks weighted to run well so warrants plenty of respect. More Tea Vicar is now three pounds lower in the weights since finishing mid division here over a mile. He steps up in trip which may suit, however for the winner we return to Nicky Nutjob.
