In what at first glance seems a poor claimer actually looks very competitive at closer inspection and we give the vote to SAVILLE'S DELIGHT but only just ahead of Grimes Faith with Don Pele also not without a chance. The selection as well as being the highest rated in the race has some pretty decent form for this level. Competitive and reasonably successful in handicap company, against better horses, he has that all important course and distance form and looks well set on his return to fibresand after a decent campaign on turf in the summer. According to the official ratings Grimes Faith has 10lbs to find on the selection but he certainly loves it here. His six career starts at this venue has delivered two wins and three further placings with the form from his latest attempts looking solid enough. Don Pele was a winner here last time out but over the longer six furlongs. That success came when the surface was looking attritional and he seems more suited to the longer sprint unless the sand is on the slow side again. Calmdownmate has some form to overturn on Grimes Faith while Colours in too inconsistent to trust, though not without place chances but to win it we go with Saville's Delight.
