MISS SERENA is the pick with Blue Jet and Borrowdale as the alternatives. The grey had looked fairly ordinary but finally consented to get her act together at Kempton on her latest start. Off what is fair mark and against opposition that is largely moderate and exposed, this well-bred type might have been found another opportunity to score. Blue Jet won a seller at Haydock on his latest start. His yard have been in fairly good form during the last week or so, so don't discount him from a follow up. Borrowdale has to reverse form with our selection but seems a professional bridesmaid at best. Compton Falcon ran creditably over 14 furlongs and is probably worth another try over this extended trip. Whaxaar has no problems on the trip. He doesn't appear to have gone on since landing a contest here in April. Muharjam is tried in a first time visor after no show in blinkers. Pearl returns to the flat having ran disappointingly over hurdles. Tenement ran much better than his position suggested at Lingfield though on breeding, tonight's step up in trip would hardly appear obvious. Bundle Up is exposed as moderate though has won under Richard Hughes in the past. Miss Serena can serve up another ace.
