Vigano ran better at Wolverhampton last time and has claims off the same mark today but Sylvester Kirk's gelding may have to settle for minor honours behind BEAT THE BELL, who gets the vote with Asian Power rated the pick of the remainder. The selection disappointed on a softish surface at Haydock two starts ago but put that run behind him with a decent effort at Sandown subsequently and Alan Bailey's colt looks worth chancing on his first start on the Polytrack since his racecourse debut. Rod Millman's Whitbarrow has slipped to a fair mark and has to be considered but his form of late has been slightly disappointing. Clive Brittian's Always Ready ran better in a visor for the first time at Folkestone on his most recent start and, not surprisingly, the visor is kept on today. He has to be considered but of more interest may be Asian Power, who has run to a consistent level of form of late. Several of these have chances but it is Beat The Bell that gets the vote.
