Epona Plays has run against better rivals than this and would have got closer to Keats at Killarney but for being impeded. THEOPHILE finished close up behind her when placed over 1m2f at Leopardstown and was beaten less than 2 lengths in a Curragh maiden in which both placed horses have won subsequently. She can gain her first success dropping back in trip. Grenadine didn't stay 1m3f when tackling a Killarney handicap but will need to show some improvement from her overall form. Laggata made a good impression on her debut over this trip at Leopardstown then just failed to hold off Baraniya over 7f at Roscommon.
