SAYAR, a Grade 3 winner over hurdles on heavy ground a year ago, was having only his second subsequent start when finding Stella D'Oro just too strong over this trip on a return visit in August. He should get the stiffer test he needs and can see off the younger brigade. Aircraft Carrier was returning from a year off when fourth in a Naas maiden earlier this month and that will have blown away the cobwebs while stable companion Madrid has a similar profile and has form on heavy going. Despite that pair being trained by Aidan O'Brien, Donnacha rides Shakespeare'sgalley for Joseph so that could be significant. Crecerelle couldn't quite get to Fightfortheroses at Naas but the remainder were well beaten and Dermot Weld's charge looks certain to get competitive. Epaneema stepped up to this trip for the first time at Roscommon and ran very well under an apprentice so should get involved with Kevin Manning back in the saddle. Got Trumped made a very encouraging debut on heavy going at Listowel and is another to consider in a stronger than usual maiden for the track.
