Verdict

True Artist, beaten a head in a very competitive Curragh handicap in March last year, refused to race in the Lincoln there last month. Tall Story has changed stables after having a dozen races without winning. He's run well on this track and was runner-up in a huge field of maidens at the Curragh so should be thereabouts again. Startedwithakiss hasn't run since narrowly beaten at the Curragh in November 2020 but has a very smart pedigree and could do with a victory for the paddocks. The Pocket Flyer ended her first campaign with a good run on heavy ground at Limerick but in a moderate maiden a chance is taken with GOLDFINCH, a daughter of Frankel out of a Group 3 winner and making a belated first appearance.
