In depth

Verdict

High Heels was totally unfancied for what looked a very strong 7f maiden at the Curragh and finished last, though she wasn't beaten all that far and was staying on. SHALE, also owned by Coolmore, made her debut over 7f at Leopardstown where she was taken off her feet before staying on. She's by Galileo out of a 1000 Guineas winner who has produced winners with all three foals to race. Cycladic has a fine middle-distance pedigree and may prove better than stable companion Malaysian at this stage while Umneyaat is another who will be suited by further in time.
