Verdict
Vinnie The Hoddie only showed moderate form in bumper but hurdling looks to be his game after a promising start at Listowel. He'll have come on for that but Roseriver Has, a winning bumper who scored on the Flat at Tipperary in May, ran poorly at Galway last month and has questions to answer. Dual bumper winner Macgiloney came close to losing his maiden tag over timber when beaten a neck by Percy Veer at Listowel though that was over 3m and he needs a stamina test. FELIX DESJY won a point-to-point and two bumpers before tackling Grade 1 bumpers at Cheltenham and Punchestown. He didn't quite come up to scratch in those championship events but his pedigree is all about jumping and he could be an exciting prospect.
