Timiyan was conceding Victoria Bay 1lb when beaten 14 lengths at Kilbeggan but was impeded twice and should close the gap on the revised terms. The Caddy Rose, who finished third, was also hampered and can get closer while Macgiloney beat the smart Doctor Duffy on good ground at Roscommon in July but pulled up behind the latter on softer going at Ballinrobe so wouldn't want more rain. Napoleon Blue has only had three runs over fences and though up 4lb for chasing home High Sparrow at Kilbeggan should get into contention. SHANROE AL C has managed to win five of his 15 races including over fences at Tipperary a year ago. He arrives here having won over timber at Sligo and with his low weight further reduced by Simon Torrens' claim he looks the one to beat.
