Winning bumper Fest Deiz is capable of running well though this looks a strong maiden. Grangeclare Native won a point and a bumper before making his hurdling debut in a Grade 2 at Naas in February. He enters much calmer waters here while much better will be expected of Guiri, a smart performer on the Flat in Germany but well beaten when favourite for his hurdling debut at Kilbeggan last August where he made too many mistakes. Make Good has run well on the Flat since a very good second in a maiden hurdle at the Galway Festival while point-to-point winner Visionarian got into a race as reserve here yesterday. Dual Flat winner GREAT BEAR made a superb hurdling debut when a close second in a Fairyhouse Grade 3 but was then beaten when long odds-on at Limerick.
