JULIE JOHNSTON never looked like being caught when back to winning ways at York last week on her handicap debut. This is also a fast 6f and Mark Johnston’s filly can defy her penalty. Zamaani was still showing signs of inexperience at Windsor but won well and is definitely on an upward curve. Rooster has shown enough to suggest he can land a nursery in the weeks ahead while Perotto beat a subsequent winner here last month and should have more to offer. He makes more appeal than all-weather winner Thank You Next.
